Aesthetic Laser Specialist
Content of Aesthetic Laser Specialist Training Course
The module content in the Aesthetic Laser Specialist includes laser hair removal, laser vein removal, laser skin resurfacing with non-ablative and ablative laser devices, and the use of IPL in the aesthetic practice.
This course also grants a certificate in laser hair removal, required to perform laser in Florida.
There are two types of laser devices that participants will use during practice.
Laser and IPL treatment protocols for pigmentary disorders/hyperpigmentation
The removal of facial veins is one of the procedures in the Aesthetics training course.
Participants must pass the exam at the end of the course to receive certification.
Nail fungus therapy and other skin disorders are included in this course.
About the Practice sessions
Hands-On Training with Laser Devices
Participants in the Aesthetic Laser Specialist Course will work with a variety of laser devices operating at different wavelengths, including systems with short and ultra-short pulse durations, such as Q-switched and picosecond lasers. Under supervision, students will perform treatments on selected models for laser hair removal, various skin conditions, and age-related concerns, using classifications such as the Glogau scale to guide treatment selection.
The practical component includes real-model practice sessions in laser hair removal, utilizing both stationary and dynamic laser platforms with wavelengths of 755 nm, 810 nm, and 1064 nm. Participants will also receive training in the use of Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) for treatments such as skin rejuvenation, pigmented lesion reduction, acne management, and other common aesthetic indications.
Model-Based Practical Training
All hands-on training in the Aesthetic Laser Specialist Course will be conducted using real models to provide participants with direct, practical experience in performing aesthetic laser procedures. Participants will have the opportunity to practice on a variety of skin concerns and treatment areas relevant to the course content, including hair removal, skin rejuvenation, pigmentation issues, and signs of aging. Additionally, participants are encouraged to bring their own models, provided they align with the clinical topics covered in the course. This option allows students to gain confidence by working with individuals they know, while still receiving instructor supervision and guidance
