Getting a 17 CEU (credits) to renew Electrolysis License in Florida. This 17 hours course will teach you all the required skills needed when performing and operating a laser dynamic machine with a multi wavelength and higher repetition rate for hair removal.

Who is it for? The course is aimed at anyone who wants to renew the electrolysis license in May, 2024 and has pending the required credits. In this course will offer 17 General credits hours from the 20 credits required to renew the electrolysis license in 2024

Electrologist Licensure Renewal First Time
This information can find on the Florida Electrolysis Council webpage, section Continuing Education.
“Electrologists renewing a license for the first time who are licensed in the “second half” of the current biennium (as of 6/1/2021 with expiration date of 5/31/2022) are exempt from the 20 hour continuing education requirement with the exception of the two (2) hour medical errors course, one (1) hour blood borne disease course and one (1) hour HIV/AIDS course”
What is CEU ?
Electrologist must obtain 20 credits hours of continuous education (CEU) to renew their license. This credits is distributed in 17 General credits, 2 CEU in Medical error and 1 CEU in Blood Borne Pathogens. We are offering 17 General CEU.

NdYag vs Diode
1064nm has been related with the laser device using NdYag 1064nm. The new laser diode has included this wavelength as part of the new dynamic laser machines 1064 nm. This wavelength has an aceptable absorption in hemoglobin and it is useful for skin rejuvenation. It is most suitable for dark skin types since the absorption in melanin is low and the risk of interaction with melanin in the skin is minimized. (Fitzpatrick V-VI)
Electrologist Seminars 17 CEU
Florida Medical & Aesthetic International School will perform every two weeks on February and March 2022 a CEU Seminar offering 17 credits for electrolysis license renew in 2022. This seminar will be offer in both language English and Spanish in the same day at the School location in different room. Call for more information 305-417-8316. Registration may be online or at the School. Tuition fee of $250.00 and participants can participate one or two days. Enrollment are available at the School or online through the website.
