Laser Hair Removal Certification course is recognized by the Electrolysis Council, an advisory board under the supervision of the Florida Board of Medicine. This program will educate prospective laser practitioners in the theory and practical application of laser and light-assisted hair growth delay.
Presented by the Laser Training Center, the laser campus of Florida Medical & Aesthetic International School, the Laser & Light-Based Hair Removal Training Course is designed to give MDs, PA, APRN, and Electrologist an introduction to the Laser Hair Removal field insight to the business of aesthetic medicine.
This course is for those that are looking to expand or start an aesthetic practice.
About the laser Hair Removal Course
Classes are offered in both English and Spanish once a month. Classes are limited to six (6) students per course. Scheduled classes can be adapted to the needs of participants.
This course will enhance the knowledge and skills of participants with laser training and the latest technology in laser hair removal in 30 hours of training.
At the end of the course, participants will be qualified to perform laser hair removal and will understand:

The content of the laser hair removal certification course includes various topics on the knowledge of laser hair removal, which is taught in master classes and practical activities carried out in a Medical Spa. In 30 hours of training, participants will receive the necessary technical preparation to perform a safety laser treatment. A particular topic on laser safety is part of the laser training course.
Laser hair removal is a cosmetic procedure that uses laser technology to remove unwanted hair from various body parts. During the procedure, a laser emits light absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair. The light energy is converted to heat, which damages the hair follicles (the structures that produce hair). This damage inhibits or delays future hair growth.
The laser hair removal certification course includes the anatomy and physiology of hair, the hair growth cycle, and other histological characteristics of the hair follicle. The course also includes understanding hormonal influences on hair growth and some hair growth disorders. Course content covers possible complications of laser application, including the classification of burns and how to prevent some of them.
