Photobiomodulation Therapy

The use of Low Level Laser and other Light Therapy Devices

What is Photobiomodulation?

Low Level Laser Therapy, Cold Laser, Soft laser and many other term are referred to the Photobiomodulation. PBM is the mechanism by which non-ionizing optical radiation in the visible and near-infrared spectral range is absorbed by endogenous chromophores to elicit photo-physical and photo-chemical events at various biological scales.

In this course, the participants will learn the impact of light on some tissues that have photosensitive cells or chromophores that when they receive non-ionizing forms of light sources cause photophysical and photochemical events on various biological scales that are useful in treating some medical conditions. This process is currently called by the term photobiomodulation therapy.

The use of laser light is one the most convenient technology to treat different disorders, and this technology is applying through diverse devices with specifics characteristics. According to this characteristics and the power the device used, laser light waves may penetrate the skin with no heating effect, no damage to skin & no side effects when device used it is manipulated by a certified technician. Multiple studies have been demonstrated that laser light directs biostimulation light energy to the body’s cells which convert into chemical energy to promote natural healing & pain relief. FDA has approved the use of low lever laser as a type of treatment for pain management.

Laser Training center is offering a certification course in the use of low level laser therapy for pain management and others condition.

This course is for participants in medical professional field like MD, DO, ARNP, Chiropractor and CCPA and other licensed technician as massage therapy, register nurse, and medical assistant. Participants should review the regulation of their respective State or Countries where they plan to perform this type of treatments. Training certification in low level laser therapy open the door for a new type of services approved by FDA and demanded for people in pain

This course will allow the participant to become proficient in the use of low level laser therapy for use as an option for patients desiring a smoking cessation program.
